AUGUST – SEPTEMBER 2023 PROGRAMME

We have now managed to add the August – September 2023 Programme to the EEHW Information page. However this has caused the page to revert to a single column. It is therefore necessary to scroll down to reach the Documents section where the Programme is.

August/September 2023 Programme

We are sorry but we are having problems uploading the August/September 2023 Programme to the EEHW Information page. However, it may be viewed by choosing the “Programme” tab from the menus at the top of the page.

LANGLEY VALE WOOD

The Car Park charge is £2 for up to 2 hours. This is payable only by card – cash cannot be used. Unless adding extra time it is necessary to press the green Validate button twice to get to the payment stage.

MONDAY 19 JUNE – HEALTH WALK AT PRIEST HILL

Banstead Road is closed near Burford Lane because of emergency road
works (Gas Networks) so you cannot drive from Cheam Road up Banstead
Road to Beverley Close. To drive to Beverley Close you need to enter
Banstead Road from the other end (Fir Tree Road) and then drive past
Banstead Station.

To get to Fir Tree Road from Ewell drive up Reigate Road to The Drift
Bridge and turn left on Fir Tree Road (A2022). Banstead Road is a sharp
left turn after about 1 mile immediately before the A217 traffic lights.

Alternatively proceed along Cheam Road past Banstead Road to the
roundabout by St Pauls Church. Turn right into Northey Avenue and
continue about 1 mile until it meets A217 at traffic lights. Turn right
on A217. Continue to a roundabout where you fork right with A217. The
next bit is nicknamed “The Mad Mile”. At the next traffic lights turn
right on A2022 (Fir Tree Road) and immediately right again into Banstead
Road.

Because there is no through traffic in Banstead Road it is also possible
to turn into Banstead Road from Cheam Road, park in Banstead Road just
before the road works and then walk up to Beverley Close.

Whichever option you choose please allow extra time to get to the start
at the junction of Beverley Close and Banstead Road.
